From August 1, 2021 my work at the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at Aarhus University Hospital will be permanent. I will be employed part-time beside my studies to build the official website of the department from scratch. I will continue to conduct my own research at the department.

Today the paper Short- and long-term mortality after deep sternal wound infection following cardiac surgery: experiences from SWEDEHEART was published at the European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EJCTS). The study was conducted in corporation with Professor Tomas Gudbjartsson, MD PhD from Reykjavik in Iceland and Professor Anders Jeppsson, MD PhD from Gothenburg in Sweden.
