Awarded the Young Scientist Award for the best oral presentation at SATS Annual Meeting

The 13th Joint Scandinavian Conference in Cardiothoracic Surgery was taking place in Helsinki, Finland from 7-9 September 2022. I presented a new study on the association between preoperative anemia and long-term mortality in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting, which is a result of the collaboration with Professor Anders Jeppsson, MD PhD (Sweden), Professor Tomas Gudbjartsson, MD PhD (Iceland), Associate Professor Ivy Susanne Modrau, MD (Denmark) and Associate Professor Susanne J. Nielsen, RN PhD (Sweden). I was fortunate enough to be selected as the presenter with the best oral presentation and be awarded with the Young Scientist Award.

As always, it was a pleasure to be participating in the Annual Meeting, which was in fact the 70th Annual Meeting of Scandinavian Association of Thoracic Surgery (SATS)/the 13th Joint Scandinavian Conference in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
